Meet SWEACC´s new NGO cluster and find out how
SWEACC has created a new NGO Cluster within our Chamber of Commerce. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are starting to become a more important partner for many as they play a major role in pushing for sustainable development in Africa and elsewhere. But how should the business world react to NGOs in the future? Should companies contribute with donations only, or can NGOs be viewed as business partners too? Especially smaller size companies have a hard time to engage governments and inter-governmental tenders, can NGOs be a good partner for such projects? How can your business engage with the NGO community?
Welcome to our breakfast meeting on September 18th
The overall framework for our NGO Cluster are UN Sustainable Development Goals number 1 - NO POVERTY and number 17 - PARTNERSHIPS FOR GOALS. SDG goals #3 HEALTHY LIVES, #4 EDUCATION and #8 ECONOMIC GROWTH are the initial focus areas. The NGO Cluster is managed by Mrs Dana Simovic, board member within SWEACC and Owner of Developing a new Africa, an NGO operating in East Africa. Join us to discuss how working with the UN Sustainable Development Goals can grow your business.
