Swedish - East African Chamber of Commerce

The Swedish – East African Chamber of Commerce (SWEACC) was founded in November 2010 as the first Swedish chamber of commerce to focus on business opportunities in Africa. SWEACC demonstrates the great business potential of the EAC-region. The prime objectives are to provide a meeting place for business people with an interest in the EAC and to organize seminars which provide insight in the economy and private sector of the EAC. The Chamber also offers a platform for the Embassies and visiting dignitaries, where they can meet informally the Swedish and diaspora business communities.

SWEACC is growing rapidly and now has 200 members, ranging from private people to large companies. In a short period of time SWEACC has established excellent contacts with the Swedish Department for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Sida , Business Sweden – the Swedish Trade and Invest Council, regional chambers of commerce in Sweden and the EAC and other organisations with focus on trade with EAC.

Warm welcome to SWEACC.
